Just remembered this little snippet.
On the morning of Maia's birthday party my sister rang to say that her daughter was not very well and wouldn't be able to come to the party that afternoon. When I got off the phone I explained the situation to Maia and immediately she said "Mummy we must save some cake for C when we're at the party so that Aunty S can take it back for her when she's better enough to eat it"!! She really is turning into a lovely generous and considerate little girl - apart from when she's arguing with Cassia of course :)
